Continuing our discovery of communication within the stages of consciousness, in this module we will discover more about the communication needs of stages 1-6.
In most communication situations, there is either mutual understanding, agreement or acceptance, or people give up and move on, so no major conflicts emerge.
The conflicts and giving up are hard to deal with in a love relationship, aren’t they?
People in stages 1-6 communicate differently.
In this module we will hone our communication skills to
- Learn and use tools to understand the different underlying, needs, values, and validity claims that lead to “misunderstanding.”
- Link how our communication relates to our 4 dimensions of relating
- Learn to negotiate agreement without giving in
By understanding how people communicate at their different levels and practicing different communication methods
we can be heard, will honor others, and get our and their needs met.
All is especially vital in our love relationships.
