Healing Karmic Transgressions
With the Overt Acts Process
By David Quigley
When investigating their past lives with Alchemical Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression therapy, many clients have discovered horrific, unsolicited visions of terrible things they have done to others in the past, and they have seen how these visions are the cause of their present life problems. Alchemical Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression Summit technology addresses this effectively using the Overt Acts Process. This system addresses a host of issues, including chronic and life-threatening illness, chronic relationship problems, or patterns of repeating financial disaster.
For example, the Overt Acts Process is effective when a consistent pattern of bad luck has followed the client for years. Many of us experience patterns of bad luck in certain areas of life, such as money, relationships, and careers. If a client asks, “Why does this always happen to me?” then the Overt Acts Process could give them the answer… and stop the pattern as well.

How The Overt Acts Process Works
The Alchemical Hypnosis client is initially invited to “Return to a memory where you did something long ago that is the cause of this pattern.” There, we examine the overt acts being committed by the past-life perpetrator.
In one case, for example, a client who came for a session because he was continually being lied to and betrayed by his choice of lovers, discovered a past life where he himself was a seducer and betrayer of women centuries ago in Paris. This client’s story became especially credible when he explained that he had met two women in his present life who astonishingly still remembered his seduction, knew that it was in Paris, and had not forgiven him!
The second step is to invite the perpetrator to apologize to the victims, express genuine remorse, and ask for their forgiveness. Sometimes, this is easy, but at other times, it can be more difficult, especially if the Past Life Personality is very attached to their behavior. Several methods can be used to solicit repentance from these past-life individuals, including an angry confrontation with the client’s present self where the client describes the great suffering endured due to this overt act. In many cases, this testimony is enough to solicit forgiveness. The past life perpetrator must express sincere repentance before the process can be completed.
The next step is for this overt actor to listen carefully to their victims and determine whether their forgiveness is genuine. Sometimes, the perpetrator sheds genuine tears of remorse or explains the suffering endured during many lifetimes caused by their acts. In many cases, this testimony is enough to solicit forgiveness, but many times, it isn’t. A client may need to ask the victims of their crime, or their own Higher Self, to give the client some actual acts of atonement to complete in the present time that will mitigate their karmic debt.

The Importance of Atonement
If the client receives instructions for an act of atonement, those instructions must be followed. In all cases, overt acts cannot be cleared without making amends, either directly to those we have hurt, or to others in the world. On the other hand, it is far better to perform works of kindness with a repentant heart than to suffer victimization repeatedly for our misdeeds. Of course, it is each individual’s choice, whether consciously or subconsciously, to continue to endure karmic patterns of suffering or to learn the lessons that our Higher Self is trying to teach.
The Final Step: Self-Forgiveness
The final step in the process is to move toward self-forgiveness. This may not be as easy as it sounds. Most people are harder on themselves than they are on others. The self-forgiveness process begins by asking the present self, “Do you forgive yourself for what you have done?” If the answer is no, then the present self is encouraged to express all of their rage against this perpetrator aloud. Then they become the perpetrator and again express their remorse and the terrible circumstances that led them to pursue their acts. In time, this dialogue eventually leads to self-forgiveness. This step is a critical part of recovery.
The Rewards
Although the mechanisms behind changing one's karmic patterns may be difficult to trace without belief in some form of divine justice, the dramatic results demonstrate its efficacy. Later, my clients subsequently report how much their lives have improved. For example, a previous state of persistent poverty has been transformed into opportunity, and a safe and loving family has replaced abusive relationships.
Alchemical Hypnotherapy is incredibly rewarding, both for the clients and the practitioner.
