How long does it take to become a hypnotherapist?

After completing the 15-day Alchemical Hypnosis Practitioner live online professional training, you can begin recovering your investment immediately because you’ll be ready to serve paying clients from all walks of life, in person or online.
You'll also qualify for the highly regarded Consulting Hypnotist certification from the National Guild of Hypnotists.
The Alchemical Hypnosis Practitioner training is deeply experiential and interactive, so with every class, you gain confidence and skill through demonstrations AND by leading and observing practice Alchemical sessions with your classmates, under the guidance of an experienced Instructor and Training Assistant.
If you want to earn the credentials of a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT), the Professional Hypnotherapist training would be your next step. It's 14 days of experiential live online training where you learn very advanced hypnotherapy techniques, plus practical business management and marketing tools. This program is designed to expand the scope of your practice exponentially.
After serving clients as a CHT for at least six months, you can then apply to enter an affordable internship program to earn the dual credentials of Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT) and Alchemical Hypnotherapist.

Fluency in English and good physical, mental, and emotional health are required. The pace of the training is intense and rigorous, both academically and experientially.

Yes. We've been teaching live online since 2017. The students love that it incorporates a wealth of interactive elements, including supervised hands-on practice and live sessions. The Zoom classroom fully replicates the real-world practice and supervised sessions that are essential for building experience and confidence as a hypnotherapist, with real-time interaction and engagement. It really is "just like being there," but from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office.
Our graduates express deep gratitude at the cost savings, too. Before the live online classes became available, students would need to "stop their lives for a month" in order to personally attend a classroom in Santa Rosa, CA which for many students was very far from home. Nowadays, there's no need to consider travel costs or accommodation.

What happens if I need to miss a Zoom class due to prior commitment or unexpected circumstances?
All students are adults with other responsibilities, so we have accommodated many such situations through the years. We want you to succeed! Replay videos of lecture segments are available, and for a reasonable fee, the instructors and training assistants are always ready to provide one-to-one tutoring if needed.
The most common incidence of absence involves a student needing to be late, or to leave early. It is important to let us know ahead of time, whenever possible, so we make our staff’s telephone numbers available to students. The policy around absence is: If a student is absent from classes for more than two days for any reason, the missed classes must be attended at a subsequent training program to complete course requirements.
When available and upon request, unedited video recordings of lectures are available to students of a class who 1) pay an administrative fee and 2) electronically sign a Confidentiality and Proprietary Rights Agreement.
