What is the "causal plane"? And how do we work with it?
First, let's look at all 4 planes, to see where the Causal Plane fits in.
The "physical plane" is the obvious world we live in. Modern medicine has many tools for addressing our physical illnesses. But it seems most Earth dwellers are unaware of how much their physical body's health and success are based upon the emotional and mental dimensions of our world, and so they pay little attention. Only when rampant anxiety and depression dominate our thinking processes and turn into addictions and physical pain and illness do we usually pay attention to the source of our physical pain: the “emotional plane”.
Today many forms of therapy and meditation are available to assist us in healing the emotional body. Inner child work, support groups, emotional release, and depth counseling are all ways that the victim of trauma and neglect can find some healing and learn to find trustworthy companionship. I have found that Inner Family work is best for healing the emotional plane.
Healing on the emotional plane leads to an ability to redesign our core beliefs in the “mental plane”. Visualization of a glorious future, affirmations of deservingness and success, subpersonality work, and regression can be utilized in hypnotic therapy to alter our core beliefs. This work can change the subconscious matrix of how we view the world and our place in it. I could share many stories about the success of changing core beliefs with Alchemical Hypnosis therapy. Anyone familiar with the Science of Mind or The Power of Positive Thinking knows some of these principles.

There is a common misunderstanding of how the causal plane works
Many people believe that God or the Divine dwells in the causal plane. And in their minds, God can’t always be counted on to deliver the perfect world and the perfect relationships that their hearts desire. In their minds, sometimes God's delivery system seems entirely designed to frustrate us. God's realm of action... appears to them, at best, as a random universe built of chance and, at worst, a sadistic deity's platform to randomly hurt us. No matter how tearfully and desperately prayers are hurled, they are as likely to come up empty as filled with treasure. And rarely do they find out why.
However, it is through our actions that we plant the seeds of our karma. The universe then delivers the consequences or rewards.

Perhaps the best way to explain the causal plane is to examine one Alchemical Hypnotherapy client’s causal plane discovery
A client experiences constant romantic difficulties despite a strong desire for a committed relationship. One woman, among others, has been an ongoing obsession and disappointment to him. He wishes to examine the cause and find the cure for this "karmic pattern."
Many therapies focus on patterns of childhood neglect, working on positive image and communication skills, or healing core beliefs about deserving love. All of these methods have great value, but until the client addresses the issue on the causal plane, it will persist.
In an Alchemical Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression journey to the Interlife, this client examined his Preconception Contract. There, his Higher Self revealed that in the current lifetime, the client is to make amends for a previous lifetime as a cruel King. At that time, he never loved or honored his favorite wife or her feelings, forcing her to submit. So, in this lifetime, he has to care for her, listen to her, and be her friend. This client also sees how his arrogance toward women has to be healed in this lifetime through opportunities to eat romantic "humble pie" with several other women.
The Higher Self - the connection to the Divine in the subconscious mind - may outline ways to pay the price or learn the necessary lessons in another easier way, perhaps allowing room for a loving partner as well. With the support of a trained Alchemical Hypnotherapist, direct negotiation with the Higher Self will often shift the energies immediately toward the manifestation of the client’s desired outcome.

We may even utilize causal plane work to discover directly from this client's former Queen and her Higher Self what atonement he can make now, to her or to another woman he loves, that could free him from his trap. We could also ride the causal plane to explore all of his past relationships, including with his mother and her neglect. This client discovered a past life as a thief who murdered her in the night. Atonement can also be done here, finally unlocking the source of her resentment.
By addressing the Higher Self in its own plane of creation, a phenomenal shift can be made in our lives and in the lives of others! This is causal plane work. It is powerful.
None of this is based on religion, it only requires us to recognize that it is through our own actions that we plant the seeds of our karma.
