by David A. Wheatley Mars moves into Libra on Friday night-Saturday, which is usually a mild placement for Mars. It forms a couple of trines, to Uranus on one side and Pluto on the other, which sounds interesting. Mars also forms an opposition to Saturn/Neptune at the same time. These larger powerful planets all overwhelm Mars; they determine more what will manifest with Mars than Mars determines itself. Mars in Libra is not dynamic, though it could be very productive while there, putting energy into Libran-style reconciliation without destruction. Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, and Uranus are very tight, though not perfectly in aspect this weekend; they are within two degrees or less of perfect aspect. This is a huge shift in a martial arts kind of way, meaning not a lot of resistance, and the realization that there's a predetermined current to flow with. Determined by the larger planets. After the coming months this year of retrograde by the major planets, the perfect conjunction of Saturn/Neptune and aspects to Pluto and Uranus will finally happen, overlapping the first few months of 2026 and for the following 18 months. We might learn something this weekend and for the weeks ahead that helps us understand what to expect next year. Tremendous evolution can take place, by necessity. This could be a breakthrough in many areas of life, though it isn't all so easy; it might seem easier, suddenly, than anyone supposed it would be. One of those times when circumstances make decisions for you. Something still feels awkward and tense, like the ghost of a weight carried in the past, but now that the difficult step has been taken, we have to learn to live with it. Within a couple of days after this weekend, Venus will be in conjunction with Jupiter in Cancer. This brings a feel-good five days, suggesting a glow from having made it through a juncture that we expected would be difficult. Mercury has been retrograde since mid-July; it's now finally moving forward from 4 degrees of Leo. Mercury is going to be helpful soon, slowly moving direct into a sextile with Mars in Libra. A very constructive discussion can take place that was held up since earlier in July. Mercury, having been retrograde, is moving more slowly and Mars is moving faster; their sextile, which usually might last two days, is extended into the middle of August, by which time Venus and Jupiter have separated and are not involved by aspect with other planets and therefore not inflating optimistic air into the balloon. The removal of Venus and Jupiter post-conjunction means we have to deal with reality now. A conversation is likely to happen in multiple places that appears to promise a better world; however, there's a hidden agenda under it all. In recent weeks, a large earthquake happened on Russia's eastern shores, followed by a volcano. Other large but less powerful earthquakes occurred in recent weeks before the event in eastern Russia. Powerful things are happening in the heart of this planet that I won't detail now, but the thing is, they are progressive changes from the point of view of the planet, however inconvenient to the human ants on the surface. These huge planetary energies in aspect with Earth are bringing new conditions for life on Earth, which ultimately support "life on Earth". But they will be disruptive and force us to adapt. This weekend and for the rest of the month, the combined aspects involving Pluto and Neptune promise to reveal hidden plots. Putting a nice glow on them from the Jupiter-Venus conjunction next week will be unraveled later in the month when Venus, by itself (no Jupiter), opposes Pluto and sextiles Uranus, trine to Saturn and Neptune. This is probably related to Epstein. Comments welcome.
